🪆 Garmin Hrm Pro Not Connecting
Same issue here, Pixel 3 XL / Garmin Fenix 5. Has been showing the update as updated every few days for last few weeks but the version never changes. Today I went into the watch settings and tried the update, gave same error, use Garmin connect. I've cycled auto update, reset defaults on watch. No luck.
Bring the device within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor. NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other wireless sensors while pairing. Hold UP. Select > Sensors & Accessories > Add New. Select an option: Select Search All. Select your sensor type. After the sensor is paired with your device, the sensor status changes from Searching to Connected.
Pairing is the connecting of ANT+ ® or Bluetooth ® wireless sensors, for example, connecting a heart rate monitor with your Garmin ® device. Bring the device within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor. Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other riders' sensors while pairing. Select an option: Select a sensor type. to search for all nearby sensors.
No -- you'll need to either buy an ANT+ dongle, or buy a BT-capable HRM. I have experience with both the Polar H10 and Garmin HRM-Pro -- both are great, and the Polar can usually be had for <$80. If you don't record HR on Zwift but you do want to participate in races, your results will always be filtered out. Just fyi in case you didn't know.
Removing it again and add it back, starts working but again, only first connection. Chacking the Bluetooth setting in the iPhone shows the HRM-Pro as not connected and appears a new HRP-Pro on found new devices to add. This is getting me crazy!!! Any solution?? Thanks! Regards, Jose
