I'm looking for advice / warnings / reassurance on the semi-automatic Berlingo! We are keen to get a used Multispace (our budget seems to point us to the 2015 to 2017 versions) which, as you likely know, has the ETG6 semi-auto gearbox. However, we are hearing warnings (from other forums, people we know) about the unreliability of the gearbox.

Came up with "gearbox fault" and that error code 1704 - gear selector coherence fault. Had trouble selecting between 'R', 'N', 'A1', 'M'. When trying to start even in 'N' and foot on brake to start - it would often STILL give the select 'N' and put foot on brake message - so wouldn't start.

Hello All. I have just bought a 2010 Grand Picasso. Its got a very slow change from first to second then progressively faster changes upward. I want to change the transmission fluid. Easily found the drain plug. Where is the filler cap or plug? Regards Whitworth
I'm lucky enough to have unlimited access to a fully equipped workshop where I work with two post ramp, transmission jacks and air tools. To do this you need to remove everything above the gearbox including the battery tray to access the gearbox mount. C4 Picasso 1.6 HDi 2013 model mk 2 it is auto or semi autoit has a lever on the steering wheel and two paddles + and - on the steering wheel. The lever positions are R, N, A, M. in M you can use the paddles. I moved the car reversed into a space. Then turned it off. When I turned it back on the car started because the lever was in N position.
The car DID misbehave during a dealer test-drive. Citroen UK now acknowledge that there is a major problem, caused by the Stop & Start System ( Eco Mode) malfunctioning on all cars that have it.
